Coordinator of Atelier 35 and curator of several big exhibitions ("The Writing", "Space-Object", "Space-Mirror"...) with an interdisciplinary approach and enjoying the participation of musicians, artists, writers, scenarists, stage directors, Wanda Mihuleac was a famous promoter of the alternative art in Romania, during the 70s and the 80s.
The experimentalism of her artistic creations and of the exhibitions organized by her represent a landmark of the period in question and they played an important role in the constitution of a valid identity of the Romanian art.
She participated in many international biennials of art: XXXVI-th Venice Biennial, the XII-th Paris Biennial, the XIX-th Sao Paolo Biennial, Brazil, Impact Art Festival, Kyoto, Japan. She also had personal exhibitions in museums such as Art Museum, Bucharest, Georges Pompidou Center, Paris, Ledoux Foundation, Arc-et-Senans, France.
Starting with the 90s, she has been living in Paris, where she got her MA and D.E.A. at Paris I Sorbonne University. She is the chief-editor of les Editions Transignum, Paris. Her works includes collages on paper, print, artists books, interactive and public art.
